Yup. That´s me. I have no facial disfigurement. It was just a sunny day. By the way, not aiming to do free publicity of Raggy Charters (South Africa) or Mr. Puffin (Iceland), they are cool people, though.

Wow, if you have reached this area you must be very curious (or you are my mum or any of my friends, just aiming to refine the art of gossiping).

 

Anyway, hi, it´s me. Rodrigo. A spanish guy with interest in nature. Coming from inner Spain didn´t give me many chances to explore the world, but now I am all in! I studied Environmental Sciences and Ecosystem Restoration (not a total reckless tree-hugger, I guess), but I have been sloooowly shifting towards the oceans in the last years (yeah, those whales breaching aren´t from a lake in inner Spain, surprise!). What can I say? You gotta love the oceans, it´s a hate-love relation (wind, swell, storms, pukes), but it´s a feeling that once is under your skin, you cannot get rid off of it.

 

After few years, I have realized that I am becoming what some people call "a naturalist", a person who never shuts up and speaks about the uniqueness of a bird, the formation of clouds or fish farts (I know, very interesting topics).
 

I have discovered photography as a very useful tool to learn about the natural world (thanks mummy, daddy and sisters for the first camera!) and, above all, to learn patience in order to get a glimpse of the life and wonders of certain species.
